This can be true for a lot of people out there, you shouldn’t judge someone when you could be getting an incomplete or alteted version of the truth! You should try to get the full picture before you pick sides, look for the evidence, don’t just expect to get it all from one side. Be careful with who you believe!

╰┈➤ as someone who’s had this happen to me multiple times, this is a REALLY big problem that we have to work on.
just because someone is soreading shit about another person, doesn’t mean you just go with one story and shun the other.
the best thing to do is to not get involved in it, especially if youre strangers and theyre friends. they know nothing about the story, yet theyre entitled enough to just pick a side and antagonize the other person completely without even knowing the full story.
and when the “bad guy” tries to explain, theyre all like “this isnt up for discussion” as if you’re being so mature.

Why do I keep stumbling into accidental truths on Tumblr?
so lemme get this straight, when a kid gets upset and hurt and makes loud noises or throws a tantrum they’re misbehaving and need to be disciplined and punished, shamed and abandoned for what they did
when a grown ass adult gets upset and throws a tantrum, bullies and emotionally tortures other people, abuses their power and authority, uses violence to get their way, they mostly get whatever they want and everyone needs to understand they’re upset and need a lot of patience and empathy from everyone
it’s almost like adults get to be children and children don’t get to be children.
I love that most people once they realized what was happening just went full Berserk mode without a care

This wonderful human is bringing so much joy into the world. He’s reminding people they’re allowed to play. That they can be silly in public. That fun can come in unexpected places and at unexpected times. I wish I knew who he was. I’d donate so he could buy more pillows and bring more fun into the world - once it’s safe enough to.

I even managed to get his little straw mouth on the side and he just genially let me fiddle around with him before putting him back.
